Short Break
This historic house, which dates to earlier than 1600 and has been a hotel since the 18th century, was carefully restored and converted into a stylish boutique property in 2020. There are just 15 individually designed bedrooms; some include original features such as 17th century wooden ceilings or frescoes while others boast views of the Ljubljanica River. There is a gourmet restaurant open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays (must be booked at least 24 hours in advance) and a popular gastropub (open daily) serving traditional Slovenian dishes with al fresco dinning available in the summer months. A small spa offers a sauna, floatation bed and a variety of treatments.
