A landmark on Eyre Square in the centre of Galway, the Hardiman has been a hotel since 1852 and hosted guests including Louis Napoleon of France. Today the hotel offers 103 modern rooms, including 19 luxury suites, some of which have original Victorian high ceilings and sash windows overlooking the square. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the Gaslight Brasserie is an atmospheric meeting point, while afternoon tea is served in the elegant Parlour Lounge. Guests can also relax with a cocktail in the Oyster Bar or a pint of Guiness in Macneill’s Pub.
