This luxurious country retreat was created by Ed and Tara Lyle who came to the area on holiday and were so taken with the tranquillity and beauty that they decided to stay. It is a 45-minute drive from Marrakech and nestles between the Agafay Desert and the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. It is the perfect complement to a stay in the city for those looking to relax but the many activities on offer in the surrounding countryside will also appeal to the more adventurous. The owners are wonderful hosts and take great pleasure in sharing their intimate knowledge of the area. The hotel sits in four hectares of manicured gardens and has 23 bedrooms (no TVs), an excellent restaurant, an atmospheric roof terrace, two swimming pools (one heated in winter), a spa with traditional hammam and a small cinema. The hotel does not accept children under the age of 12.
