Built in 1912 in typical Norman half-timbered style, on the main Boulevard Cornuche but surrounded by lawns and courtyards, the Normandy Barriere offers a less formal atmosphere than the Royal, its sister hotel. Children are given special attention with the kids’ club and the adult-free restaurant operating every day during school holidays.
Adults can enjoy the extra facilities of the small indoor swimming pool, sauna and treatment rooms on the top floor. Many of the 271 traditionally furnished rooms look over the town’s championship tennis courts to the beach. The ‘Belle Epoque’ restaurant reflects the grandeur of its name and serves breakfast and dinner throughout the year with meals available in the delightful courtyard in summer.
