The northern peninsula, Cap-Corse, remains a relatively untouched part of the island, and forms a perfect backdrop for this newly reopened boutique hotel, which sits on a quiet part of the coastline an hour’s drive from Bastia airport.
Most of the 29 bedrooms have views towards the sea and are furnished in an understated, contemporary style. A number of walking trails enable guests to explore the beautiful countryside surrounding the hotel, whilst those after a more relaxing experience can unwind in the spa, or soak up the Mediterranean sun by the outdoor swimming pool or on the sandy beach – part of which is private for guests of the hotel. The gastronomic restaurant serves excellent seafood each evening, whilst the beach restaurant offers more informal dining during the summer.
