Short Break
This unique property, set on the slopes of a hill overlooking the city of Űrgüp, was once a settlement dating from the 18th and 19th centuries with the dwellings carved into the rock. A meticulous restoration and modernisation of these historic structures has created 29 individual rooms and suites which have been carefully decorated with traditional Ottoman furniture and Turkish rugs. Each cave is different, with many of the suites featuring their own hammams, jacuzzis or plunge pools and most benefit from a private courtyard or terrace. There is an outdoor swimming pool during the warmer months (unheated) with wonderful panoramic views over Cappadocia and a spa with Turkish bath, sauna, massage rooms and a small gym. For dinner you have the choice of light dishes served at the rooftop bistro, à la carte options at ‘Maide’ and a gastronomic tasting menu at 'Revithia' – all can be accompanied by fine wines from the region. Prices on request.
