This excellent hotel opened in Spring 2004 after the comprehensive restoration of one of Prague’s most attractive Art Nouveau buildings. Formerly a theatre, the period architectural detail such as stained glass and wrought iron has been retained and combines favourably with a modern, contemporary design. An excellent buffet breakfast is served in a wonderfully light and spacious hall and there is plenty of room in the lobby in which to relax. The 130 bedrooms are very comfortable and bathrooms all have welcome underfloor heating. There is a gym, a sauna and massage treatments are also offered. The location is great – just steps from the Powder Tower and the Municipal Hall, on a relatively quiet street.
