Eurostar
Short Break
Formerly the residence of the Dukes of Burgundy, this 15th century castle was the first five star hotel in Bruges. It has been meticulously restored conserving many unique features including a charming private chapel in the turret of the palace and opened in May 2008. Located in a quiet corner of the city just five minutes’ walk from the Market Square, it has 135 sumptuous bedrooms and a spa with a ‘salt wall’, sauna, hammam and a range of treatments using hot and cold stones. Dukes’ bar offers a tapas menu and the restaurant serves classic Belgian cuisine with a modern twist (closed Sunday and Monday). In the summer it leads out to the spacious private gardens – a real rarity in the city.
