Short Break
This historic hotel dates back to 1854 and much of its Victorian grandeur is still on show today. From the pillared entrance of the Grand Foyer to the elegant Garden Room restaurant, with its high ceilings adorned with elaborate cornicing and large windows overlooking six acres of beautiful gardens. For a more informal retreat, Brownes Bar has two blazing fires, a bar food menu served every day for lunch and dinner and a collection of over 190 whiskies. The 172 rooms are either in the main house, or in the newer Garden Wing where the style is more contemporary. There is an indoor pool, sauna, treatment rooms and afternoon tea can be taken in the bar or the Grand Foyer.
