The original English printing press, as well as some printed stationery, stand proudly in the entrance hall, which also hosts stylish art exhibitions. Following the addition of two villas in 2013, there are now 13 elegant, contemporary suites. The menu is chosen each morning based on guests’ requirements, focusing on local fresh seafood, especially yellow fin tuna, using a mix of Mediterranean and traditional Sri Lankan recipes. As a nod to the faded elegance of the hotel’s surroundings, guests can visit Galle in the hotel’s 1945 Morris Minor.
