The history of this majestic château, located just south of Tours and close to the Loire valley castles dates back to as early as the 16th century.The present building was built in 1866 and has been welcoming guests since the 1950s. Family owned since then, guests receive a warm welcome from the hosts, Xavier and Anne Olivereau.
The hotel is set in an extensive 15-acre park with footpaths, magnificent trees and shrubs. Its 30 rooms and suites are located in the main château or in outbuildings close by and are decorated in a classical style.The Orangery restaurant below the main château has sweeping panoramic views over the gardens, the tennis court, outdoor summer swimming pool and the Indre valley below. Fine, locally sourced French cuisine is served at lunch and dinner and there is a summer terrace for al fresco dining. A predinner drink or an aperitif over a game of billiards can be enjoyed in the cosy lounge. No lift.
