Our favourite hotel in North Cyprus, Bellapais Gardens is ideal for guests looking to relax in peaceful and historic surroundings. Located on the edge of the village of Bellapais, at the foot of the imposing 13th century abbey, you will experience wonderful views of the abbey itself and out to sea over the lush valley and the nearby town of Kyrenia. A boutique hotel offering attentive service, the 17 bedrooms are situated in a series of traditional Cypriot style cottages set amongst lush gardens of scented flowers, palms and lemon trees. Each has a terrace or balcony with garden or sea views and most are duplex in layout. There is a restaurant serving local and Mediterranean cuisine, an informal bar and an outdoor swimming pool with views of the abbey and the coast. The drive from Larnaca airport takes 1 hour 20 minutes; Ercan airport is 45 minutes away.
