In the winter the river freezes over and you can try ice fishing, meet the local Sami people and watch the Northern Lights in the sky above, whilst in the summer months you can catch sight of moose in the forest under the glow of the Midnight Sun. Fly to the northern city of Luleå, about 80 minutes’ drive away.
