This famous hotel has a fabulous location right on the waterfront of the historical Nyhavn harbour in the centre of Copenhagen. It is a few minutes’ walk from the Royal Theatre, the Royal Palace and the Stroget (the city’s main pedestrian shopping street). The hotel is housed within two former warehouses which are connected on the ground floor by the lobby – the Yellow Warehouse dates back to 1830 and the protected Red Warehouse to 1804. There are 130 rooms in total and all have recently undergone a full renovation and feature exposed wooden beams, modern bathrooms and many have excellent views to the harbour. There is a cosy lobby bar and an excellent Italian restaurant ‘Il Rosmarino’.
