An immersion in the art, music, cuisine and culture of Venice, our new two-week itinerary in conjunction with John Hall Venice is much more than an art tour, it is a unique opportunity to take a closer look at La Serenissima in the company of world-class experts. The John Hall Course was founded in 1965 and provides in-depth residential courses for gap year students in Venice.

Our special itinerary, hosted and designed by Charlie Hall, incorporates the highlights of their six-week course in a shorter format, with accommodation at a comfortable Kirker hotel and a series of lectures from international experts. We visit during the winter season, when the city is at its most alluring, with fewer visitors and an atmospheric mist rolling in from the lagoon. Over the course of our stay, we will enjoy daily talks from a range of renowned speakers on art, music and Venetian culture and history as well as visits to museums, art galleries and churches, and a number of included dinners at some of our favourite Venetian restaurants. We also make excursions to important cities in the region, including Padua, Ravenna and Asolo, as well as the Veneto countryside and the islands of the Venetian lagoon.
