Singer, pianist and songwriter, Joe Stilgoe, will host this very special new Kirker Jazz Festival on the island of Malta, with a series of concerts inspired by the Great American Songbook of Cole Porter. Joe and his Trio will bring to Malta their uniquely entertaining style of performance in three private concerts, held in two different venues, and we will explore the beautiful coastlines, attractive fishing villages and Baroque architecture of both Malta and Gozo.
We will see prehistoric temples which are thought to be the earliest accessible free-standing buildings in the world, mediaeval settlements and the walled city of Mdina, as well as the military fortifications and magnificent buildings left behind by the Knights of St John.
