We recommend flying to Tenerife and starting with a ferry to La Gomera where you will stay for three nights at the perfectly-situated Parador, with its glorious views over the National Park. Returning to Tenerife and heading up to the Teide National Park you will then stay for two nights at the unique Parador Las Canadas del Teide, on the high slopes of Spain’s tallest mountain and with some of the clearest skies in the world above. Finally, descend to sea level for a five night stay at the Hotel San Roque in Garachico, one of the north coast’s attractive colonial towns, where you can enjoy the excellent local cuisine and relax on the roof terrace or by the heated swimming pool.
