Staying in the ancient coastal town of Nafplio, we will visit a number of key sites in the Peleponnese, from Mycenae and Epidaurus to Corinth, Sparta and Nemea, where Hercules defeated the legendary lion. The highlight however, is Mycenae, where you will learn more about the Mycenaean civilisation, which reached its peak around the 13th century BC.
