The history of Naples dates back to the 9th century BC, when the Greeks founded ‘Neapolis’. Today, traditional pizzerias and superb restaurants can be found, as can an acclaimed opera house, beautiful monuments and some wonderful museums. A visit to the Capodimonte with its extensive collection of paintings and sculptures and a trip to the National Archaeological Museum are highly recommended. Naples is great for a short break or a place to stay for a few days at the beginning of a longer, tailor-made itinerary.

Opened in the late 19th century, this landmark, Belle Epoque property was the hotel of choice for the rich and famous. It was rebuilt after World War II and is once again the most prestigious address in town.
Following extensive renovation, this is our favourite hotel in the city. Located at the beginning of Corso Vittorio Emanuele, 20 minutes’ walk from Piazza Plebiscito, the Royal Palace and San Carlo Theatre, this elegant hotel has been welcoming guests since 1870.
