Last week a select group of Kirker clients enjoyed a private view of 'Michelangelo, Leonardo, Raphael: Florence, c. 1504', at The Royal Academy, before the gallery opened to the public.
Leonardo's exquisite Burlington House Cartoon, or The Virgin and Child with Saint Anne and Saint John the Baptist is a highlight, and it was a rare treat to be able to see it in tranquility, alongside more intimate sketches, studies and drawings by all three masters.

Following the exhibition we enjoyed a delicious breakfast at Brown's Hotel in the heart of Mayfair. One of London’s great hotels, Sir Rocco Forte and his sister Olga Polizzi have personally masterminded the restoration of Brown’s, which now epitomises all that is great about classic English design, combined with charm, outstanding service and warm hospitality.
If you wish to see more of the Renaissance masters, why not enjoy a short break to Florence? Kirker clients receive complimentary entry to the Uffizi Gallery and can enjoy the hospitality of Rocco Forte, staying at the 5* deluxe Savoy on the Piazza della Repubblica in the heart of Florence.
