The pianist Ashok Gupta won many prestigious awards at the start of his career, including The Ferrier Awards, at the Bonn Beethoven Competition and Royal Over-Seas League.

Ashok enjoys giving solo recitals and playing chamber music and works a great deal with opera singers, notably at Glyndebourne, the Royal Danish Opera, Garsington and Opera North and coaches singers at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama. His has appeared at Buxton International Festival, Wigmore Hall and at Oxford Lieder.
